The ferry for the conference departs from Fremantle to Rottnest Island. The return ferry travel is complementary with conference registration.

• Fremantle train station is located 10 minute walk from the main departure spot for the ferry.
• If you happen to be staying close to the Perth CBD on the day of the our departure date (5th September), then hop on the 'Fremantle Line' from the Perth Station and it is a 30 minute train to Fremantle Station.

  • From any terminal (1 to 4) at Perth Airport, the goal is get on the 'Airport Line', which then is 20 minute train into the Perth Station.
  • You would transfer onto the 'Fremantle Line' and it is a scenic 30 minute train ride.

• Direct flights to Rottnest Island are available from Jandakot airport.
• At this stage the expected flight times are 2pm Monday 2 September (Jandakot to Rottnest) and 3pm Thursday 5 September (Rottnest to Jandakot).
• Please be aware that Jandakot airport is situated roughly 20 minutes drive away from Terminal 2 of Perth Airport.
